Overview

Shreveport Common is an Arts & Cultural district in the historic nine-block area on the western edge of downtown Shreveport, Louisiana, offering many opportunities for artists, awarded by Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC). We have been very fortunate to have received a few of these opportunities, starting with the Shreveport Common logo created by JRyanArtist to be a visual brand for the newest, oldest “UnCommon” place designed as Shreveport's first cultural community. In addition, temporary installations were constructed to welcome visitors and developers to the ground-breaking of the revitalization efforts taking place.

The Lab Rats work with both the Shreveport and Bossier City Art Councils and are participants in the development of the local arts community. We seek to addend and improve ours and other arts communities and, awareness of the arts worldwide for the purposes of improving the human living experience, and the blight of neglect to areas devoid of the prettiness that can and should be.
